Announcement - Funeral Prayer

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Choudhary Mohammad Yousuf Sahib of Vaughan Jamā‘at – Halqa Woodbridge North, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 71 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

By the grace of Allah, Respected Choudhary Muhammad Yousuf Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was a devoted Ahmadi who accepted Ahmadiyyat at the age of 17 and since then remained a true and obedient servant of Khilafat. Respected Chouhdary Sahib had the honour of being an Aseer-e-Rah-e-Maula. He had the blessing to serve the Jamā‘at in various capacities throughout his life starting in Karachi, Pakistan. Due to his employment in PIA, he was also able to fulfill various tasks during the migration of Syedna Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IV (rh) and had the opportunity of seeing off Huzur (rh) on his flight. After moving to Canada he served in various capacities including as local Ṣadr, Regional Amīr, local Amīr of Vaughan Imārat and National Secretary Zirā‘at.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
