Obituary of Mahmood Ahmad Nasir

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mahmood Ahmad Nasir Sahib of Mississauga Jamā‘at – Halqa Mississauga East, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 74 years.

Respected Mahmood Ahmad Nasir Sahib was a devout Ahmadi who had the opportunity serve as a teacher under the Nuṣrat Jahān Scheme.After migration to Canada he served as Za‘īm Anṣārullāh of Ahmadiyya Abode of Peace for over a decade. Respected Mahmood Sahib was blessed with a beautiful voice and held a passion for recitation of the Holy Quran. He was held an avid interest in poetry. Respected Mahmood Sahib was a figure loved by all, in the Jamā‘at and his friends and family.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
