  We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Abdul Mannan Qureshi Sahib, son of (late) Abdul Lateef Qureshi Sahib, of Windsor Jama’at, who passed away on Sunday January 13, 2019 at the age of 86 Years.

Abdul Mannan Qureshi Sahib was the maternal grandson of Hazrat Mirza Ghulamullah Sahib (r.a.), an early companion of the Promised Messiah (a.s.). He was a pioneer member of the Canada Jama’at, who settled in Montreal. He was a very hospitable and generous person who was at the forefront in welcoming newcomers to Canada. His home was always open for everyone, and it served as the first prayer center in Montreal. He had a very deep love for Khilafat and instilled the love and service of Jama’at in all his children. Abdul Razzaq Qureshi Sahib is currently serving as the president of the Halifax Jama’at. His grandson, Furhan Hamza Qureshi Sahib, is a missionary and serving in Jamia Ahmadiyya Canada.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amin!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amin!
