With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of young Affan, aged 9, in Nepal. Affan's bright smile and gentle spirit brought joy to everyone who knew him. Born into a life of hardship as a refugee, he faced unimaginable challenges with courage and resilience.
Despite the love and care of his devoted parents, who remain in Nepal, the difficult circumstances of his environment and an illness he could not overcome brought his journey to an untimely end.
Affan's life was a testament to the strength and purity of a child's heart even in the face of adversity. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
May his soul find peace, and may his memory serve as a reminder of the resilience and dignity of those who endure life as refugees.
Azeezum Affan Ahmad was the great-grandson of Hazrat Choudhary Maula Baksh Sahib (ra), who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). He was an exceptionally bright child who was part of the blessed scheme of Waqf Nau. He participated with great enthusiasm in the programs of Majlis Aṭfālul Aḥmadiyya and had achieved first position in all competitions of the National Ijtima this year. During his illness he used to regularly ask his mother to call the office of Syedna Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (aba) to request prayers for his recovery.
Azeezum Affan Ahmad was the son of Respected Rizwana Luqman Sahiba who is serving as the National Sadr Lajna Imāillāh Nepal.
May Allah the Almighty grant his soul eternal peace in Heaven! Amen! May Allah the Almighty also grant
the family solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
