Obituary of Amna Khan

Please share a memory of Amna to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Amna Khan Sahiba, wife of Respected Kamran Zafar Ullah Sahib, of Brampton West Jamā‘at – Halqa Heartlake, who passed away on March 8, 2024 at the age of 42 years.

Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

By the grace of Allah, Respected Amna Khan Sahiba was a Mūṣiya. Ahmadiyyat was introduced in her family through her paternal grandfather, (Late) Respected Abdul Qadir Khan Sahib, who did Bai‘at at the
hands of Hazrat Khalīfatul-Masīḥ II (ra). She was regular in offering her daily prayers and held deep love and regard for the institution of Khilafat, a quality that she instilled in her children. Her kindness and
steadfast dedication to serving others deeply impacted all who encountered her. She always tirelessly extended a helping hand to those in need. Her profession as an educator specializing in special needs
children showcased her remarkable compassion and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Respected Amna Khan Sahiba was the daughter of Respected Hafeez Ullah Hydrani Sahib Wāqif Zindagī, who is serving as National Secretary Rishta Nāṭa. Her maternal grandfather, (Late) Respected Dr. Faizullah Khan Sahib devoted his life in service to Jamā‘at after his retirement and served as Deputy Administrator of Faḍl ‘Umar Hospital and inaugural principal of Paramedical Nursing school in Rabwah. Her elder brother, Respected Humayun Hafeez Sahib, is currently serving in Edmonton West as Na’ib Ṣadr Jamā‘at and Assistant National Secretary Umūr ‘Āmma Western Canada. Her younger brother, Respected Mohammad Usman Ahmed Sahib Wāqif Zindagī, is serving as In-charge Software Development in the IT Section of Canada Jamā‘at.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen! May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
