Obituary of Mahmood Ahmad Shaikh

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Shaikh Mahmood Ahmad Sahib of Hadiqa Ahmad Jamā‘at, who passed away on March 6, 2024 at the age of 88 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Shaikh Mahmood Ahmad Sahib was a devout Ahmadi who had the blessing to serve as Ṣadr Halqa in Faisalabad and after migration to Canada as Additional National Secretary Umūr ‘Āmma for over fourteen years. He had the opportunity to work closely with Amīr Jamā‘at Faisalabad Shaikh Muhammad Ahmad Mazhar Sahib on various assignments during his time there. Respected Shaikh Sahib was a compassionate soul who stood as a pillar of support and guidance to all those around him.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
