Respected Mubarka Begum Awan Sahiba was a loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, and sister. She was a devoted Ahmadi who had deep love of Khilafat in her heart. She was an obedient servant of Allah and reminded her children and grandchildren to always display immense love towards Khilafat and always be punctual in offering Salat and reciting the Holy Qur’an. She always gave precedence to reading her five daily prayers, even up until her last moments she was devotedly reciting her Salat and Surah Al-Fathia over and over. She was the daughter of (late) Bashiran Begum and (late) Ahmed Ali Sahib of Pakistan, who was a convert of Ahmadiyyat who instilled the love of Khilafat and Islam and lived as an exemplary role model for his children and family.

Respected Mubarka Begum Awan possessed a kind and loving soul who had lost her husband at a very young age. Even with the hardships she faced in her early youth and the health complications throughout the later part of her life, she always put aside her pain and displayed firm and unwavering faith in Allah. She was a generous mother who took on the role of both mother and father, always remaining steadfast and strong while being a supporting arm for each and every one of her 8 children (masha’Allah) and 27 grandkids (masha’Allah). As one of the eldest siblings she was a role model to all, and treated her brothers and sisters and the entire family with kindness and respect, always showering them with love, happiness and prayers.
