Obituary of Malik Zafar Nazir Ahmad

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Malik Zafar Nazir Ahmad Sahib of Richmond Hill Jamā‘at, who passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Through the blessings of Allah, Respected Malik Zafar Nazir Ahmad Sahib was a devoted Mūṣī. His fervent commitment to Tablīgh was evident as he played a pivotal role in organizing Interfaith Symposiums in Canada. Malik Sahib possessed profound knowledge encompassing the beliefs and foundations of various religions, a quality that shone through in his Tablīgh endeavors. Additionally, he had the blessing to serve in various roles, including as Secretary Umūr Khārijiyya in Richmond Hill. Despite grappling with an ailment that confined him to bed for several years, his heart and words consistently radiated contentment and were adorned with praise for Allah.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
