Obituary of Riazuddin Ahmad Choudhry

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Choudhry Riazuddin Ahmad Gondal Sahib of Mississauga Jamā‘at – Halqa Mississauga South, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 78 years.

Respected Choudhry Riazuddin Ahmad Sahib was a devoted member of the Jamā‘at and a loved figure in the community. He used to give special importance in offering congregational prayers and fasts. Respected Choudhry Sahib held deep love for Khilafat and was always ready to say Labaik to any command of Syedna Hadrat Khalifatul Masih (aba). He was always ready to offer his services to the Jamā‘at and had the opportunity to serve in Khuddāmul Ahmadiyya and Anṣārullāh as Qā’id and Za‘īm Majlis respectively in Badhal, Pakistan and Montreal and Malton in Canada. Respected Choudhry Sahib was passionate in Tablīgh and would never miss any opportunity to present the message of Ahmadiyyat, the True Islam.

Respected Choudhry Sahib was the maternal grandson of Hadrat Qazi Nazir Hussain Sahib (ra), who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). His father, Respected Mohammaduddin Choudhry Sahib was blessed to serve as Ṣadr of Badhal Jamā‘at in Pakistan for a long period.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
