Obituary of Mohiuddin Ghulam Yahya Malik

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mohiuddin Ghulam Yahya Malik Sahib of Markham Jamā‘at, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 95 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

 

Respected Mohiuddin Ghulam Yahya Malik Sahib belonged to a pious family. He was the grandson of Hadrat Hafiz Ghulam Mohiuddin Malik Sahib (ra), who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as) and the foster brother of Hadrat Khalifatul Maish I (ra). Respected Yahya Malik Sahib was the younger brother of the late Respected Dr. Abdul Haq Malik Sahib who served as Amir of Jamā‘at Gujrat.

Respected Yahya Malik Sahib always keenly participated in Jamā‘at events, even in his old age.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
