Obituary of Nasir Ahmed Tahir

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Nasir Ahmed Tahir Sahib of Hamilton Jama`at, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 78 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Nasir Ahmed Tahir Sahib was a musi. He had the opportunity to serve the Jama`at as Zaim Halqa in Karachi, Pakistan and Secretary Tarbiyat in Hamilton, Ontario. He was regular in his daily prayers and had a deep love of the Holy Quran and Khilafat. His love for the Holy Quran was such that even with the progression of his dementia he did not forget many chapters of the Holy Quran and used to recite them daily. May Allah grant maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
