Obituary of Qamar-uz-Zaman Khawaja

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Qamar uz Zaman Khawaja Sahib, of Vaughan Jama`at Halqa Vaughan South, who passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 76 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

 

Respected Qamar uz Zaman Khawaja Sahib was a Musi and a devoted Ahmadi. He was the great grandson of Hadrat Maulvi Umar Din Sahib (ra) who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). He was regular in the daily and Tahajjud prayers and had a deep love of Khilafat. He was very punctual in his chandajat and gave special importance to helping the needy anonymously. He had the opportunity to serve the Jama`at in various capacities in Gujar Khan, Pakistan, where his shop was also looted and burned down in 1974. May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
