Obituary of Iffat Owais

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Iffat Owais Sahiba, wife of Late Respected Owais Akmal Khokhar Sahib, of Durham West Jama`at who passed away on November 26, 2022 at the age of 83 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

Respected Iffat Owais Sahiba was the daughter of Hafiz Muhammad Abdullah Sahib who served Jama`at Buchayki as Sadr for more than 35 years. There had been several martyrdoms in her family including Afzal Khokhar Sahib Shaheed, Ashraf Khokhar Sahib Shaheed, Kamran Arshad Sahib Shaheed, Mazafar Ahmed Sahib Shaheed and Professor Abdul Wadood Sahib Shaheed. Maulana Abdul Rasheed Raazi Sahib was her cousin. Respected Iffat Owais Sahiba had a deep love of Khilafat and was regular in the daily prayers. May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
