Asalamo-Alaikum-Wa-Rahmat-Ullah
I am Khadija Qureshi's maternal grandson, I always observed how my Nano always took care of family and guests, putting their needs above hers. When you visited her, there would always be fresh food, and you would always leave with a full stomach and a sense that that she was like your own mother. She would always honor anyone that she met, and made anyone feel comfortable, just like my late Nana Abu.
Bay the Grace of Allah, my Nano was regular in her prayers and was always listening to Jamaati programs on Youtube. She always carried herself with dignity and I even saw her doing Tabligh to a Non-Muslim a few months ago!
I always felt that just her presence was enough to comfort me, but now she is with Allah Almighty.
I pray that May Allah elevate her status is Heaven and give her Jannah-Tul-Firdaus, and enable me to follow her example always. Ameen!

Our beloved mumani jan was a very humble, down to the earth and soft spoken mumani jan. She was great host. Always welcome with smiling face.
Me and my wife always talk high about her. Once we got chance to go to Montreal and stayed around four days in Mamu and Mumani house.
She treated us like her own childre. At that time she had lot of pain in her knee, it was very hard to move but she was making paratha for us and serving us with her own hands.
May Allah elevate her soul in the heaven and and also give us chance to follow her foot steps. AMEEN SUMA AMEEN

Very sad to hear the demise is Sister Khadija Sahib. Inna lellahe wa inna ilehe Rajeoon. May Allah grant her lofty status in heaven. Like her husband Late Abdul Mannan Qureshi Sahib she was very kind and receptive to new comers to Cana when in Montreal. She served as Sadar Lajna there and provided care to many families. She was very pious lady indeed.
Allah Taala may bless the family members to bear this loss with patience. Ameen summa ameen
