We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mobashir Latif Ahmad Sahib of Toronto West Jama’at (Ahmadiyya Abode of Peace Halqa) ,who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 85 years.

By the grace of Allah, Respected Mubashir Latif Ahmad Sahib was a Musi, He was a dedicated Ahmadi lawyer from Lahore, Pakistan. He served as President of the Faisal Town Lahore Jama’at. He had the honour of being a part of the Jama’at’s lawyer’s team, who represented the Jama’at and Ahmadi Aseeraan-e-Rahe Maula (prisoners of conscience) in numerous cases for many decades. He survived the terrorist attack at the Model Town Lahore Mosque in May 2010 while his younger brother Naeem Sajid Tanvir was martyred during the attack. He migrated to Canada in 2010.
He had a deep love of Khilafat and was regular in his daily prayers. May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen! May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
