We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Surryia Begum Sahiba wife of late Mohammad Abbas Sahib of Vaughan Jama’at (Vaughan South Halqa), who passed away on January 8, 2020 at the age of 75 years.

By the Grace of Allah, Respected Surryia Begum Sahiba was a Musia and was a pious and devoted Ahmadi. She was the beloved daughter of late Choudhry Mubarak Ahmad and wife of late Choudhry Mohammad Abbas Vaince. She was niece of late Choudhry Ahmad Mukhtar Sahib, previous Amir Jama’at of Karachi, Pakistan. She moved to Canada in 2004. Since she didn’t have her own children, she lived with her adopted daughter Mrs. Qanita Ilyas Choudhry. She led a very simple and pious life and always took care of others. She had a loving personality.
She had a deep love of Khilafat and was regular in daily prayers. May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in heaven! Amen! May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved family and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
