We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Syed Sharif Ahmad Mansuori Sahib of Woodbridge Jama’at He passed away on Wednesday March 20 2019 at the age of 90 years.

Respected Syed Sharif Ahmad Mansuori Sahib was a pioneer member of Jama’at Ahmadiyya Canada, He served the Canada Jamaat in various capacities over the years. When Bait’ul Islam Mosque was being built, he took time off of work and travelled across Canada at personal expense to raise funds for the mosque, travelling by bus from the east coast to the west. He had a deep love for the Promised Messiah (as) and his family. Respected Syed Sharif Ahmad Mansuori Sahib had the opportunity to serve in the foreign office of Pakistan, and had a very close working relationship with Hadrat Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan (ra).  Respected Syed Sharif Ahmad Mansuori Sahib used to spend many hours around Bait’ul Islam and served the Jamaat in any manner that was needed, which included performing the call for prayers, assisting in securing space for monthly meetings and Jalsa Salana Canada, and also ensuring any facilities obtained were returned in a state that was better than before the meetings/Jalsa.  He did not consider any task to be beneath him, and was even involved in cleaning the inside/outside of these facilities. Respected Syed Sharif Ahmad Mansuori Sahib gave openly to those in need and has helped many members of the Jamaat in various ways

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amin!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amin!
