He was the eldest son of late Malik Mohammad Din (Police inspector), who accepted Ahmadiyyat in Gurdaspur India and then migrated to Pakistan in 1947.

All his life, Malik Ghulam Ahmad Sahib always preached and practiced for complete obedience to Khilafat and always to put Jama‘at first. He had a great love for the institution of Khilafat. He also got an opportunity to serve Jama‘āt in different capacities throughout his life as Na’ib Amir Sahiwal and Secretary Umur ‘Amma in Canada.

He had the opportunity to serve Jama‘at during the campaign of Bhutto in 1971 and also was part of the 1974 team for the proceeding at National Assembly of Pakistan; under the direct guidance of Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad Khalifatul  Masih the IV(ra). In 1984 when the agitation against Jama'at Ahmadiyya in Sahiwal incident happened, Allah gave him the opportunity to serve Asseeran (Prisoner)  of Sahiwal as an Attorney and worked alongside with Ch. Hamid Ullah sahib, Late Khawaja Serfraz Ahmad Sahib,  Mubasher Latif Sahib and other legal team of Sahiwal Asseeran case.

He always found ways to help family and friends very discretely and was always ready to sacrifice own rights for others.  He was a great husband and a very caring father.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amin!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amin!
