We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mahmud Ahmad  Sahib, of  Mississauga Jama’at, who passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

By the grace of Allah Respected Chaudhry Mahmud Ahmad Sahib was a Mosi. He has the privilege of serving the Jama’at in Pakistan in various capacities including Secretary Finance for over 20 years in Mughalpura Lahore. He was very regular in his prayers and regularly made contribution to MTA and Mosque fund in Pakistan and in Canada. Even during his serious sickness, he was very regular to offer his daily prayers.He was very devoted Ahmadi with love to Promised Mashia (as) and Khalifat.

During 1974 Anti Ahmadiyya riots he survived an attack when he was stabbed in the back while he was going for Maghreb prayers. He led a life of honesty and great compassion to those around him. He was very humble in his dealings with friends and family members.

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amin!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amin!
