Obituary of Hamda Mubaraka

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Hamda Mubaraka Sahiba, wife of (late) Respected Mohammad Moin-ud-Din Sahib of St. Catherines Jamā‘at, who passed away on June 17, 2026 at the age of 92 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

Respected Hamda Mubaraka Sahiba devoted her life to faith, service, and the Jama’at. A sincere and dedicated Musiya, she was regular in fulfilling her financial obligations and remained steadfast in her devotion to Allah, Khilafat, and the Jama’at throughout her life. She had the opportunity to serve the Jama’at in various capacities across Tarbela, Islamabad, Lahore, Montreal, and Brampton, always carrying out her duties with sincerity and dedication. Professionally, she also served as a lecturer at Karachi University during the 1960s.She was known for her humility, strong sense of responsibility, and unwavering faith. Her life was a beautiful example of service, sacrifice, and righteousness, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
