Obituary of Mirza Rafiq Ahmad

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mirza Rafiq Ahmad Sahib of Brampton West Jamā‘at – Halqa Flowertown, who passed away on May 21, 2026 at the age of 77 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Mirza Rafiq Ahmad Sahib was the son of Hazrat Mirza Mohammad Khan Sahib (ra) and the grandson of Hazrat Mirza Ahmad Din Sahib (ra), both companions of the Promised Messiah (as). He was extremely simple in nature, humble, and very affectionate and sociable with others. Despite health challenges, he remained regular in offering the five daily prayers and Tahajjud. He had deep love for the Holy Qur’an and would regularly complete its recitation every three to four months. He was especially affectionate with children and treated elders and youngsters alike with great respect, kindness, and sincerity.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
