Obituary of Muhammad Aslam Bajwa

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam Bajwa Sahib of Peace Village Jamā‘at – Halqa Centre East, who passed away on May 21, 2026 at the age of 93 years.

Respected Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam Bajwa Sahib was a deeply righteous and devoted servant of Islam Ahmadiyyat. He was regular in Tahajjud and the five daily prayers and had profound love for the Holy Qur’an, often completing multiple readings within a single month. After calling the Adhan, he would personally go door to door inviting Ahmadis to the mosque for congregational prayer.

 

He faithfully served as Sadr Jama’at Chak 33 SB, Sargodha for fifty-five years and also had the opportunity to serve for twelve years as Sadr Halqa. He further served as a member of the Zila’i ‘Āmila and was entrusted with various responsibilities by Markaz. In 1974, he was blessed with the honour of becoming an Aseer-e-Rah-e-Maula, during which Syedna Hazrat Khalīfatul Masīh III (ra) lovingly sent him a prayer mat while he was in prison. Following the migration of Syedna Hazrat Khalīfatul Masīh IV (rh) to England, despite restrictions on tabligh in Pakistan, he utilized his personal resources to send tabligh letters to thousands of individuals.

He possessed immense love for Khilāfat, financial sacrifice, and service to humanity and quietly supported many families in need and helped numerous young people continue their education.

 

He lovingly left behind 14 grandkids and 12 great grandkids.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
