Obituary of Bushra Barlas

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Bushra Barlas Sahiba, wife of Respected Mian Sajid Rafiq Ahmad, of Brampton East Jamā‘at - Castlemore, who passed away on April 2, 2026 at the age of 72 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

By the grace of Allah, Respected Bushra Barlas Sahiba was a Mūṣiya and the granddaughter of Hazrat Mirza Wazir Beg Sahib (ra) who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). She was a devoted member of the Jamā‘at who was at the forefront in financial sacrifice and served as General Secretary and later on as Sadr Lajna Imāillāh for twelve years of Halqa Mustafabad, Lahore. She was a kind and generous soul who was always ready to serve the less fortunate, regardless of their faith.

     

     May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and           enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
