Obituary of Mumtaz Ahmad Khan

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mumtaz Ahmad Khan Sahib of Toronto West Jamā‘at – Halqa Ahmadiyya Abode of Peace, who passed away on March 24, 2026 at the age of 90 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

By the grace of Allah, Respected Mumtaz Ahmad Khan Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was a God-fearing soul who was regular in his daily prayers and the Tahajjud prayer and consistent in financial sacrifice. He was an exemplary Ahmadi, known for his lifelong devotion, sincerity and deep attachment to Jamā‘at and Khilafat.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
