Obituary of Rashid Ahmed Bajwa

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Rashid Ahmed Bajwa Sahib, of Peace Village Jamā‘at – Halqa Peace Village Center West, who passed away on March 5, 2026 at the age of 88 years.

Respected Rashid Ahmed Bajwa Sahib was the paternal grandson of Hazrat Chaudhry Rahmat Khan Bajwa Sahib (ra) of Chawinda who was a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). By the grace of Allah he was a Musi, loyal servant of Khilāfat and a devoted member of the Jamā‘at. He was regular in offering his five daily prayers and Tahajjud and was consistent in paying his Chanda. He had the blessing to perform Hajj twice in his lifetime. He had the blessing of serving as Amin of Peace Village Centre West for over 25 years, fulfilling his responsibilities with great dedication and sincerity. He was also at the forefront in financial sacrifice and was always eager to serve the Jamā‘at in every possible way. He was known for his kind and gentle nature, and for the warm smile that he always carried. His humility, sincerity, and devotion to faith and service left a lasting impression on all those who had the privilege of knowing him.  

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen! May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
