Obituary of Shamim Ahmad Malik

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Shamim Ahmad Malik Sahib of  London South Jamā‘at, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 54 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

 

He was a devoted, courageous, and steadfast Ahmadi who rendered valuable and selfless services to the Jama‘at in various capacities, including many years of dedicated service in the office of the General Secretary. Always ready to assist and support others, he was known for his kind heart, positive outlook, contentment, and quiet courage. He possessed a deep love for the Jama‘at and Khilafat. He was the son of (late) Respected Dr. Fahimda Munir Sahiba, who had the blessing to serve as the first lady doctor in the Fazle Umar Hospital. Respected Shamim Malik Sahib upheld the legacy of his mother through charitable endeavors and sincere service to humanity.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
