Obituary of Nadira Begam

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Nadira Begum Sahiba, wife of Zahir Ahmed Khan Sahib (Shaheed) of Milton East Jamā‘at, who passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Respected Nadira Begam Sahibah was a Musia, the daughter of the late Muhammad Bashir Uddin Bhagalpuri, and the wife of Shaheed Zahir Ahmed Khan Sahib (Qaid Zila Lahore), who was honoured with the rank of Shahadat in March 1980 while travelling from Lahore to Rabwah with the Qafila of Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih III (ra). After the martyrdom of her husband, she raised her children with steadfast faith and dedication, while continuing her own education and professional life. She rendered devoted service to the Jamā‘at as Sadr Lajna Sukkur for five years and later as Regional Sadr for the Sukkur, Shikarpur, and Larkana divisions. Following her retirement, she resided in Karachi before emigrating to Canada in 2015.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
