Obituary of Sharif Ahmad Bajwa

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Sharif Ahmad Bajwa Sahib of Durham East Jamā‘at, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 78 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Sharif Ahmad Bajwa Sahib was a Mūṣī and a kind, humble and devoted soul. His family was blessed with the honour of having companions of the Promised Messiah (as).

He paid great importance to the spirit of financial sacrifice, always fulfilling his promises with sincerity and humility. His love for Khilafat and his loyalty to the Jamaat were constants throughout his life. He was truly cherished, respected by elders, loved by the youth, and warmly remembered by all who met him. People recognised him instantly by his firm handshake, radiant smile, and the gentle warmth he brought with him. His love for family and friends was evident in his affection and care for them.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
