Obituary of Naseer Ahmad Shad

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Naseer Ahmad Shad Sahib of Toronto West Jamā‘at – Halqa Weston North East, who passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 78 years.

Respected Naseer Ahmad Shad Sahib was a devout Ahmadi Muslim, who was inclined to his faith and service from an early age.  After completing middle school, he moved to Rabwah where he joined the Waqf-e-Jadid teacher training under the guidance of Syedna Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad Khalifatul Masih IV (rh). He continued to advance his education while serving and completed his Matric, F.A., B.A., and later an M.A. For nearly 13 years, he served in Sindh as a devoted teacher of the Holy Qur’an. In 1981, he was appointed as a lecturer at Jamia Ahmadiyya, where he taught Urdu and Persian until 2002. Many of his students are now serving worldwide as missionaries. In 2009, he moved to Canada, where he continued to serve in various capacities, including as a member of the Qaza Board and as a Qur’an teacher in the Jamaat school. He dedicated his entire life to faith, humility, simplicity, and sincere love of Khilafat.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
