Obituary of Masood Ahmad Mirza

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mirza Masood Ahmad Sahib of Mississauga Jamā‘at – Halqa Malton, who passed away on September 29th 2025 at the age of 96 years ... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

By the Grace of Allah, Respected Mirza Masood Ahmad Sahib, was devout Ahmadi and Mūṣī. He belonged to the Mughal Barlas tribe of the Promised Messiah (as) and was the son of Hazrat Mirza Manzoor Ahmad Sahib (ra) of Barlas Manzil, Rabwah and the paternal grandson of Hazrat Mirza Ghulamullah Sahib (ra), both of whom were revered and early companions of the Promised Messiah (as). Inspired by his father’s example, he devoted his life to serving humanity, always ready to extend a helping hand. He lived his life with deep fear of Allah and unwavering truthfulness, constantly guiding his family to remain steadfast in their connection with Allah and Khilafat. He was regular in offering his daily prayers and was punctual in financial sacrifice.He was a kind and charitable soul and keen historian, often sharing cherished accounts of his elders and the Jamā‘at.

 

Respected Mirza Masood Ahmad Sahib was the beloved husband of Respected Bushra Mirza Sahiba, daughter of Respected Mirza Abdul Latif Sahib (Darwesh Qadian) and granddaughter of Hazrat Mirza Mehtab Baig Sahib (ra) of Qadian, a companion of the Promised Messiah (as). His grandson, Murrabi Fahad Ahmad Syed Sahib is currently serving as a professor in Jamia Ahmadiyya International Ghana.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
