Obituary of Shameem Sohail

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Shameem Sohail Sahiba,wife of Respected Sohail Baig Sahib, of Mississauga Jamā‘at – Halqa Malton, who passed away on September 6th 2025 at the age of 46 years.

Respected Shameem Sohail Sahiba of Rabwah, Pakistan, was the daughter of Respected Abdul Ghani Sahib, who was the first in her family to accept Ahmadiyyat.

 

In 2015, she migrated with her family from Pakistan and endured more than three years of hardship in Thailand, during which her husband faced imprisonment due to immigration challenges. With patience and strength, she cared for her children and supported her husband during this difficult time.

She was known for her prayers, simplicity, generosity, and selflessness, and was deeply loved by her family and friends. Even during the difficult days of her illness, she never uttered a word of complaint, instead encouraging her husband to remain strong.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
