Obituary of Bushra Ayub
We are sad to announce the demise of Respected
... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]
She was the widow of Shaheed Ayub Azam Sahib of Wah Cantt, who attained martyrdom in 1998. Since then, Bushra Ayub Sahiba carried the immense responsibility of raising their four children alone. Through life’s many hardships, she stood with unshakable resilience, unwavering faith, and a heart full of love. She raised, nurtured, and educated her children with every ounce of her strength, eventually seeing them all married with dignity, having fulfilled their every need with grace.
She was a woman of deep wisdom, boundless compassion, and selfless love, qualities felt by everyone who had the honour of knowing her. Her devotion to her faith was steadfast; she remained regular in her prayers and spiritual duties until her final moments. She gave generously, never expecting anything in return, always choosing to see the good in others, a value she instilled in her children and grandchildren.
To her grandchildren, she was more than just a grandmother. She was the heart of the family. The most loving, caring, and prayerful presence in their lives. She guided them with her wisdom, blessed them with her duas, and wrapped them in her affection. Her love bound them together, and her life was an enduring example of grace, strength, and faith.
One of her greatest wishes was to see her grandchildren excel not only in this world but in their faith, to stay firm in their religious duties and remain deeply connected to Jama'at and Khilafat. She often reminded us that true success lies in obedience to Allah and loyalty to Khilafat, and her own life was a living testament to that belief. Through her words and her actions, she planted seeds of love for the faith in our hearts, seeds we will strive to nurture in her honour.
Among the many cherished memories we hold, one that always brings a smile to our faces is how she would lovingly hand over her credit card to her grandchildren, encouraging us to go out, enjoy a good meal, and spend meaningful time together. It was her way of bringing us closer of reminding us to stay connected, laugh together, and make memories. Even in these simple, loving gestures, her deep care, generosity, and desire to see us happy and united always shone through.
She leaves behind her beloved and cherished son Samar Ayub Sahib in Pakistan, a source of immense pride and comfort in her life, her loving daughters Yousra Mubasher sahiba and Baila Basit sahiba in Canada and Iffat Manan Khan sahiba in UK along with 8 grandchildren.
May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!
May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
