Obituary of Nasir Ahmad

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Nasir Ahmad Sahib of Vaughan Jamā‘at – Halqa Melville, who passed away on May 8, 2025 at the age of 79 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

By the grace of Allah, Respected Nasir Ahmad Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was regular in offering of his daily prayers, daily recitation of the Holy Quran and paid special attention to voluntary prayers. He held great love and regard for Khilafat, always saying Labaik to all Tehrikaat of Syedna Hadrat Khalifatul Masih (aba) and inculcated this quality in his children. Respected Nasir Ahmad Sahib was passionate about service to Jamā‘at, serving throughout his life in various capacities including as Ṣadr Halqa Orangi Town, Karachi and later on as Ṣadr Halqa Weston North. In 2012, his application to become a Wāqif-e-Zindagī was graciously accepted by Syedna Hadrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba). Following this, he began his service in the Secretary Mission House Office at Baitul Islam. Despite being seriously ill during his last few years, Respected Nasir Ahmad Sahib was always content with Allah’s will and kept himself busy in the remembrance of Allah.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
