Obituary of Ruqyia Khanum

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Ruqyia Khanum Sahib, wife of (late) Respected Malik Majeed Ahmad Rehan Sahib, of Barrie North Jamā‘at, who passed away on February 28, 2025 at the age of 81 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

By the grace of Allah, Respected Ruqyia Khanum Sahiba was a Mūṣiya. She was regular in offering of her daily prayers and the Tahajjud prayer. She was a devout Ahmadi Muslim and had the opportunity to serve as Ṣadr Lajna Imāillāh in Halqa Civil Line, Rawalpindi Pakistan. She was a kind, generous and charitable soul who always had the pain of the less fortunate in her heart. Respected Ruqyia Khanum Sahiba was always considerate of the feelings of her relatives and friends.

Respected Ruqyia Khanum Sahiba was the daughter of (late) Respected Malik Walayat Khan Rehan Sahib who had the opportunity to serve as Auditor of Taḥrīk-i-Jadīd and Waqf Jadīd.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
