Announcement - Funeral Prayer

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Omar Faroque Sahib of Vaughan Jamā‘at – Halqa Melville, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 64 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Omar Faroque Sahib was regular in offering of his daily prayers, regular recitation of the Holy Quran and had the blessing to perform the Hajj. He gave great importance to the spirit of financial sacrifice. He was a compassionate and generous soul, was always in the pursuit of knowledge and enjoyed travel. He lived his life with passion and purpose, excelling as an electrical engineer, cherishing family, and helping those in need.

 

Respected Omar Faroque Sahib was the grandson of (late) Respected Afzal Ahmad, the first missionary in Durgarampur, Bangladesh.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his/her spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
