Obituary of Masood Ahmed Mian

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Masood Ahmed Mian Sahib of Peace Village Jamā‘at – Halqa Peace Village East, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 93 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

Respected Masood Ahmed Mian Sahib was the grandson of Hazrat Babu Abdul Rehman Ambalvi Sahib (ra) and the son of Hazrat Mian Abdul Hameed Ambalvi Sahib (ra), both of whom were companions of the Promised Messiah (as). Respected Masood Ahmed Mian Sahib was regular in offering of his daily prayers throughout his life and remained steadfast in this quality until his last days. He had a deep devotion to attending Friday prayers at the mosque. He had a profound love and unwavering respect for the dignity of Khilafat and Nizam Jamā‘at. He was a pillar of love and kindness, deeply cherished by his family and friends. His warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

 

He instilled the spirit of service to the Jamā‘at in his family, with his son Respected Rizwan Masood Mian Sahib serving as National Secretary Taḥrīk-i-Jadīd Canada and his grandson Respected Tahir Ahmed Mian Sahib, Murabbī Silsila.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
