Obituary of Mahmood Yousaf

We are sad to announce the demise of Respected Mahmood Yousaf Sahib of Brampton West Jamā‘at – Halqa Caledon, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 48 years.

 

... Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return. [2:157]

 

By the grace of Allah, Respected Mahmood Yousaf Sahib was a Mūṣī. He was a devoted Ahmadi Muslim who held great love for Syedna Hadrat Khalifatul Masih (aba). He had the opportunity to serve the Jamā‘at in various capicities including as Za‘īm Halqa, Qā’id Majlis, Iṣlāh-o-Irshād committee and multiple other capacities.  Respected Mahmood Yousaf Sahib was a kind, hospitable, charitable and humble soul who always kept the needs of others ahead of his own. He was always content with the will of Allah and inculcated this habit in his family. He treated everyone, young and old, with respect and affection and was always ready to offer any sacrifice for his faith.

 

Respected Mahmood Yousaf Sahib was the son of Respected Muhammad Yousaf Sahib Shaheed, who had the blessing to serve as Ṣadr Jamā‘at Rachnatown, Lahore for over twenty-five years and was martyred for his faith in 2010.

 

May Allah grant Maghfirat to the deceased and elevate his spiritual status in the heaven! Amen!  May Allah also shower His mercy upon the grieved families and give them solace and fortitude and enable them to bear this loss with patience! Amen!
